I love Mr Snail!! Haven't seen him since he won the big bout... NICELY done billyescargot... your imagination never ceases to amaze me.... and I'm thinking this is... hmmm, 3 layers? Love the light on the "jug"...
My first take on this photo was... it was burning away in the middle to reveil what was behind it. A very interesting composiiton of items to just sit and ponder.
Brilliantly creative BillyB, and I'm sure I have that vase/jug! you've put it to better use than I have LOL.
another wonderful work of art, and that snail is just tooo cute :) but I'd better not let Mr H Hog see him, he might prefer it to the cat food he's getting from us :D, come to think of it, he's not in his box, I hope it's not too late and he is not on his way to Wales as I speak! :D ( actually, I think I've sussed where he's gone, more than sure he's behind the fridge, so the snail should be safe) LOL :D
Most cool one, Billy. BTW, "lagniappe" is New Orleans French, dates back to at least the Great Depression -- describes the custom of going to a grocer or butcher or fruit stand, and buying something and being given "lagniappe" which meant "something extra" -- like a baker's dozen (13) by the merchant.
Wow, I agree with friends above, this is surreal indeed. Frankly, I think this beats Dali. Absolutely love the treatment you’ve given it here. Yours is true creative genius, billy-full-of-awesome-wonders!! :) Seriously.
Hey Billy - very cool. As always your processing is outstanding......as Jen said above what you do is outstanding!!! you do it so seamlessly I can never tell where one image ends and the next one begins!!! Brilliant stuff - you have such an amazing talent!
Sometimes I wonder where your inspiration comes from! Where did you get the idea for this? I think I am having a creative block! I think I need a muse.
Wow! Like a portal into another plane of existence! Maybe "Stargate" or a wormhole in space. I love it. Really great imagination here Billy! It is your imagination that really impresses me even more than the photos! I've been off line due to a "power out" all over the Greater Vancouver District and most of the lower mainland. We were affected for longer than some because a bloody big Douglas fir tree blew down right across the road one block away from me. When it fell it took down a nearby power pole, and in turn broke and dragged cable down from two more down to the crossroads. Anyway, I made a new video tutorial about straightening perspective. I used your last photo as an example. You can find it at annesgallery.com
