Some do...some don't....

There seems to be a split-decision about h.d.r. images,and where they can be used etc...personally I find them o.k.,as long as they're not overdone...any thoughts..??

agree, overdone is too 'cartoonish' - I like a small foreground or background accent in HDR but don't like to make it look fake!

I guess I respect both extremes on HDR : added reality and the determined departure from reality. Done well, either can be impressive but the trouble starts when the efforts fall somewhere in-between. High time we had in-camera HDR and a decent dynamic range in the first place !
