A Fallen Log in the Old Forest.....

I applied a few filters to this image then blew the highlights,to try and make it represent a very early type of plate photograph,hence the slight bluish tint..

I think you successfully accomplished your goal, sir. This has the look of primeval - both in terms of nature and also photo technology. All that's left is for a raptor to pop its beady little head up from behind the log, and somebody else to shout at it: "Say cheese!"

Oddly enough those blown highlights work very well. I agree with VF, too... I'm expecting to see that raptor popping up from behind that log! LOL!! Fantastic pp billybrilliant!!
