A Fallen Log in the Old Forest.....Posted by bronzebilly u.k. (Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United Kingdom) on 13 November 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. I applied a few filters to this image then blew the highlights,to try and make it represent a very early type of plate photograph, hence the slight bluish tint..

Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesI think you successfully accomplished your goal, sir. This has the look of primeval - both in terms of nature and also photo technology. All that's left is for a raptor to pop its beady little head up from behind the log, and somebody else to shout at it: "Say cheese!" 14 Nov 2008 12:36am amy from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaOddly enough those blown highlights work very well. I agree with VF, too... I'm expecting to see that raptor popping up from behind that log! LOL!!
