Night Light

At last..!! we have some sunshine, this solar powered lamp is now able to light up my shrubs..
A 15 sec. exposure..
I added a background layer of a sepia tinted cloudy sky to give it that smokey kind of effect..using Paintnet..

This is lovely Billy. The sepia tinted cloud layer is a lovely touch - will have to try that.
btw. I have been playing around with another photoblog made with Wordpress but edited substantially, so haven't got a lot of photos up yet. But I have put a link to your site on the blogroll, in the left-hand panel. Not that anyone has visited yet except google-bots, msn-bots and many other robots according to my web host's statistics page for my site. You never know you may go to the top of the Google listings - tee hee !

@Anne: Hey Annepal..s'funny you know..I thought of you when I was constructing this image..so I didn't do too much manipulation ,only the layers and a little touch of the curves...see ,I can behave sometimes..*-))..
The trouble is..I'm a button presser..if it's in front of me I gotta press it..to see what it does..and as I only use a compact camera I can only use tiff files and then convert to jpegs ,so they are a bit lossy sometimes..
I took a look at your new site a few days ago,so,I just re-visited..it seems to be up and running smoothly now ,pal...cheers for the link m'lady, and such a flattering description also....
I've added it to my favourites, already so I'll be visiting on a regular basis..
b.t.w. those solar lamps are really cheap ,about 2 pounds sterling which I suppose is about 4 bucks in funny money *-))..and most of them are just set and forget....
Nice to chat,pal..ciao for now...

PS I gotta get one of those solar lamps! There is a ton of small life around in my garden after dark. I do have an electric light on my patio but it lights me up more than the foliage! Are they expensive?

Hmmm, maybe Wales is the center of the universe judging by the lovely buds on your foliage. Really gorgeous there me pal-o... like Anne, I think I may have to try that sepia/smoke layer. NOW as for calling our money funny? Harumph, we have the queen on our bills too ya know!

Nice one Billy, I like the processing you did. I agree with Tracy it has a mysterious glow. Solar lamps in the yard are really nice (until they wear out)

I like the juxtaposition of futuristic technology with primal jungle. The mist gives it a "Jurassic Park" vibe. Nice!
