Vintage Siderunner Sunset Reflection

Posted by bronzebilly u.k. (Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United Kingdom) on 3 April 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio.

This old lady was parked in Cardiff Yacht Club, when there was a nice sunset
you can just about see the masts in the reflection....
A touch of spot saturation and curves adjustment were used on this shot..

Billy...I love it! The spot saturation is just enough, without making the overall picture garish.

There once a boy named billy
Who frittered away and was silly
But out of the blue
He posted it true
OH silly billy that's BLISS!
(Ok, so it's not exactly a limerick but I'm only 1/4 Irish.)

STANDING OVATION!! I think this may be the best image you've posted.

Well captured and composed, excellent processing effects. Love the reflection in the fender. Great tones.

Beautiful gleaming metal! Were spot saturation and curves all you did? There's a nice glow there as well - great balance and overall effect, Billy!

@Ken McCoy: S'funny Prof..the glow came about when I "s" curved the luminosity in Paintnet...so I accentuated it on the bottom left of the curve..cheers..

How dare you speak about your wife that way WelshBillyBoy! I gather you are not Billy Codpiece anymore! :-D
It is indeed a beautiful old car! The processing is brilliant as usual. I posted my broken glass china cabinet for you today, instead of some more whale shots - yeah, you can laugh! Can you process a nice matching new glass door for me??
