Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesFabulous. Stylewise, this reminds me of the first Led Zepplin album cover I ever bought (from way-back days)... Cool image, Billy. 9 Nov 2007 1:17am tyan from Singaporei've never seen a farmhouse before Uncle billy, thanks for the exposure this time.I like the effect, because it really seems to give it a 15 century feel! Thanks so much for your kind encouragement.Yes i must learn to count my blessings and keep my chin up!thank you!And haha i will call my cam Returnimator, what a clever name! 9 Nov 2007 1:55am @tyan: Hey tyan I'm honoured my friend--Unclebilly nalen from Alliston, Canada15th century and it's still standing? Wow! Interesting eh? I really love to look at those old buildings you know because every brick of it tells a story about the past. btw, I made a reply to your comment, I don't know if it will reach you. Thanks for the visits, I really appreciate it. :) 9 Nov 2007 2:10am Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesTruly nostalgic feel...so earthy...great imaging and processing... 9 Nov 2007 2:24am Anne from White Rock, CanadaReally nice processing WelshBiillyBoy! Really reminded me of some old houses I did once and I couldn't for the life of me think how I did this darned processing!!!??? Well, darn it, I've just remembered - it was on film, not digital - and I was experimenting with lithograph developer for prints and got this effect! (too many of these senior's moments I am having!). I think you need to use a perspective tool to pull out those top corners and keep the building straight when you've used a 28 mm lens. (Wide angle distortion). After all Billy! It's stood up straight for such a long time (maybe it didn't before they rebuilt it?) All kidding aside its a truly nice image! I've got a bloody "thing" about perspectives being "straight" - yer know - like seas and horizons that run downhill, and vertical walls that lean in from each side at the top! ;-) 9 Nov 2007 10:39am amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaOh you knew I'd go ga-ga for this one!!
